The CEO of Farmskin grew up in Soro-ri, a rural village, working on his father’s pig farm. In university, he discovered the potential of cow colostrum for cosmetics and teamed up with Konkuk University to develop processing technology for its skin health benefits. Colostrum, the first milk from cows after birth, is rich in nutrients. Farmskin developed a technology to help the skin absorb this powerful ingredient.
His struggles with sensitive, acne-prone skin inspired him to create Farmskin, a brand focused on safe cosmetics for sensitive skin. He established the Philo-Farm philosophy to ensure all products are ones he can recommend.
